Examples of responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide support to individuals in the areas of personal care, self-care, communication, behavioral modification, personal interaction, and social relationshipsTransport individuals to social and recreational activities, medical appointments, and other destinations as requiredHelp with home organization tasks such as preparing meals, grocery shopping, and cleaningFollow individuals daily schedule while implementing all formal goals and protocols Collect data such as goals, outings, and progress notesObtain certification for medication administration (AMAP)Complete all required trainings and attend staff meetingsComplete incident reports as necessary Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum High School Diploma or GED required Experience with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred Valid NYS Driver License w/minimum 1 year driving experience required Flexible to work evening and weekend shifts preferred
