HAMDEN, CT — The Hamden Regional Chamber of Commerce will honor local healthcare workers at an event at Cascade in Hamden at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 7. Lisa Carberg, anchor and medical reporter from WTNH News8, will emcee the chamber's second Healthcare Warrior Awards, which is presented by Gaylord Specialty Healthcare. "We want to recognize and honor those who have worked so hard during this pandemic and beyond," Hamden Chamber President Nancy Dudchik said. "Our first Warrior Event could not be held in person last year, so we are thrilled to be able to celebrate deserving healthcare individuals in person."
