anyone built 2 car garage with apartment on top?

I need a 2 or 3 car garage built with a studio apartment on top (tiny bathroom, kitchenette and one large room that functions as a bedroom/living room). I'm looking at various modular options available on the internet. If you've had such a thing built, or know someone who has, can you recommend any "do's" and "don'ts"? Also, if you can refer to me the name of the person who built it for you, I'd like to contact them and get a quote. Thanks.
