FORT LEE, NJ — A 1-year-old girl was injured falling out of her stroller after it was hit by a car Wednesday morning, police said.
The girl's mother was pushing the stroller across Main Street at 7:37 a.m. when the driver of a black Honda Civic hit the stroller, causing the girl to fall out of it, said Capt. Ricky Mirkovic.
The girl suffered a head injury and was taken to the hospital, the captain said. Her injuries were minor ones, he said.
The vehicle was going east on Main Street near Gerome Avenue when the stroller was hit, Mirkovic said.
A preliminary investigation revealed that sun glare is a "possible factor" in the crash, the captain said.
The Fort Lee Police Traffic Bureau, led by Lt. Mark Radoian, are at the scene investigation.
No charges were filed as of press time, Mirkovic said.
