Utah Amber Alert Issued For Missing 14-Year-Old Girl

MAGNA, UT — An Amber Alert was issued Tuesday after authorities said a 14-year-old girl went missing out of Magna, Utah, and may be headed toward Texas or Mexico with a 20-year-old man. Areli Arroyo Osuno went missing Monday and may be with a suspect identified as David Lopez, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children said. Areli was last seen wearing a denim jacket and pants, a black shirt and white Nike shoes. She may also be carrying a large white bag. The teen was described as standing 4 feet, 7 inches and weighing about 90 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. The two may be in a Nissan Altima, the center said. Magna is about 10 miles west of downtown Salt Lake City. The metro township has about 27,000 people.
