DUPAGE COUNTY, IL — As of Sunday, the DuPage County Health Department (DCHD) has reported 28,230 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus and 636 deaths. The numbers include 777 new cases since Saturday. County health officials said three coronavirus-related deaths were reported since Saturday. They are a man in his 60s, a woman in her 60s and a woman in her 90s. The news comes as total cases in Illinois reach 487,987. The statewide death toll from coronavirus was at 10,196 as of Sunday and the recovery rate was 97 percent, according to the Illinois Department of Public Health.
