DUPAGE COUNTY, IL — As of Sunday, the DuPage County Health Department (DCHD) has reported 33,336 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus and 653 deaths. The numbers include 732 new cases since Saturday.
County health officials said three coronavirus-related deaths were reported since Saturday. They are a man in his 50s, a woman in her 80s and a man in his 80s.
The news comes as total cases in Illinois reach 573,616. The statewide death toll from coronavirus was at 10,742 as of Sunday and the recovery rate was 97 percent, according to the Illinois Department of Public Health.

The county's system of reporting shows confirmed coronavirus cases in age groups from 0 through 9 years old to 80 and older. It also includes a breakdown of cases by municipality.

In recent weeks, there has been an uptick in cases among residents who are 20-29 years old.
