Press release from the City of Long Beach: March 18, 2022 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Press Release # 31822-5 Subject: City to Host Community Meetings on Prioritizing Neighborhood Needs for HUD Federal Grants Long Beach, CA – The City of Long Beach will be hosting two virtual community meetings for residents to learn about and provide input on its five-year Consolidated Plan to help determine the activities that should be prioritized and funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) formula grants. The federal funding will provide opportunities for qualified areas of the City to participate in or be eligible for various projects such as affordable housing, youth programs, park improvements and neighborhood clean-ups.
