Experienced guitar player/singer and drums looking for experienced keys and bass to play upbeat jazz-oriented music (standards and funk), R&B and a little of anything else with a groove and some soul -- Music that's interesting to play and appeals to a variety of audiences. Focus is getting sets together to play area Happy Hours, restaurants, bars and private parties, perhaps with a female vocalist. Almost any music is fine if we can find the pocket, it's interesting to play and gets gigs. Not straight classic rock. I'm not doing it to pay the bills - did that for many years. Getting back to playing out after a few years break from running a successful wedding/corporate gig band. I am full-time dedicated to doing only music interests. I'm OK with casual meets to see what works. Musicians of any color or gender encouraged! Recordings and photos available.
