Job Title: Maintenance Personnel Pay: This is a non-exempt, hourly position. Pay is DOE. Schedule: Full time Monday thru Thursday, 7am-6pm Fall/ Winter 6am-5pm Spring/ Summer (This is an example of a typical schedule. Schedule subject to change.) We operate several homes located in Pueblo, which this position would maintain. Minimum Qualifications: - Possess a valid Colorado Driver’s license - Provide a Driving Record from the Colorado DMV o Must not have had a DUI/DWAI within the past 36 months. o Must not have had more than 3 moving violations withing the last 12 months. - Must be at least 21 years old. - Must be able to pass a background check with no felony convictions. - Must be able to provide at least three references. Job duties: The ideal candidate for this position will have basic maintenance skills. The candidate must be a self-starter and possess the ability to identify and initiate needed maintenance and repairs to homes and residential properties. - Lawn Care and Maintenance o weekly mowing o weed management o raking/ watering o leaf blowing/ pickup o edging/ trimming o seasonal fertilizing/ aerating o snow removal o exterior pest control o upkeep of fences/ driveways o tree pruning/ trimming o winterizing sprinkler systems o obtaining/ maintaining adequate supplies of equipment and supplies to complete duties o maintaining equipment in properly working condition. o Other duties as assigned - Residential/ Building Maintenance o minor drywall repairs o minor plumbing repairs o minor “handy-man” repairs o painting interior/exterior o pest control o maintenance of lighting (ie. bulbs) o maintenance of smoke alarms, CO2 alarms, fire extinguishers o moving of furniture as needed o occasional carpet shampooing o furnace filter replacement o other duties as assigned - Vehicle Care and Maintenance o tires- obtain repairs/ replacements as needed o ensure plate tags and registrations are current o ensure wheelchair tie-downs are properly functioning o minor repairs of lifts/ wheelchairs/adaptive equipment, as needed o ensure routine maintenance (oil changes) are completed o ensure maintenance vehicles/trailers/etc. are maintained in proper working condition and cleaned regularly o other duties as assigned - Maintenance/ Storage Area o garages are locked at end of each day o area (gate) is locked at end of each day o areas are kept in a clean, safe, organized condition o adequate supplies on hand for completion of all duties o other duties as assigned - Other duties as assigned.
