Need advice, might not be the proper catagory

So I have been fooling around with someone for the last 6 months who has another partner for about the same amount of time. I was aware of this but I was assured that I was loved and would never be forgotten. Suddenly, 2 weeks ago, I was dropped like a hot potato. ( blocked on phone, Facebook, etc).This is after I gave gifts and $500 cash to help out. I believe I was played badly. My question is, I know how to contact the other party. Should I drop a dime on this cheater ( I have all the text messages back and forth) and let this other innocent person know they are living with a cheater or should I just let it go? Part of me feels vindictive and the other part says maybe if I leave things alone, my cheater will come back to me. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
