Description
REDONDO BEACH, CA — The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority will suspend its C Line (Green) service Friday night through Sunday.
Crews will perform signal system upgrades from 9 p.m. Friday through the end of service Sunday at the Aviation/LAX and Redondo Beach stations.
During the closure, the Mariposa, El Segundo and Douglas stations will be closed.
All eastbound train service will begin at Aviation/LAX and all westbound trains will travel as far as Aviation/LAX and turn back toward Norwalk.
Bus shuttles will replace train service between the Aviation/LAX and Redondo Beach stations, stopping at every station in between.
Customers planning to travel in the work area should allow extra time between buses and trains, Metro officials said. Regular service is scheduled to resume at all stations Monday.
