Hi! My name is Sierra and I work in the field of Animal Behavior and Welfare. I received my undergraduate degree in Animal Behavior and Biology, and I am just a month away from receiving my MSc in Animal Behavior and Welfare at an Ivy League university. I have worked at an animal shelter for 2 years in Montana before relocating to Eugene last year. I have taken care of people's pets for 10+ years, both short and long-term clients. I have extensive experience and education working with cats, dogs, aquatic life, birds, rabbits, ferrets, snakes, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, sea turtles- the list goes on! I believe I offer competitive pet care services because I not only have the hands-on experience, I also possess a theoretical understanding of animal behavior and what it means to promote positive welfare. Qualifications: - Canine behavior training (basic commands, clicker training, positive reinforcement) - Cat behavior: Solving litter box misuse habits, methods for reducing clawing furniture, new cat introductions - Enrichment: Extensive experience implementing daily enrichment into the lives of pets (food toys, novel stimuli, promotion of the freedom for animals to express their natural behaviors) - Medical background: Ability to administer medications subcutaneously and orally, ear cleanings, nail trimmings, microchipping, temperature checks Services & Rates: 30 Min. Dog/Cat Walking: $10 1 Hr. Dog/Cat Walking: $17 Feeding/Water Refreshing: $10 Litter Box Cleaning: $5 Yard Poop Scooping: $5 Bathing: $10 Nail Clipping: $5 Ear Cleaning: $5 Playtime: $15/hour - Fetch, tug-of-war, laser pointers, wand toys, etc. Quality Time: $10/hour - Sitting with animal, petting, brushing, etc. Full-Day Care: $30/day - 3-4 visits per day Overnight Sitting: $30/night OR $175/week Medication Administration: Varies depending on type and frequency of meds Enrichment Activities: $15 - I would provide the materials! Activities examples: Paper mache boxes with different size/shapes of holes w/ various scents on box, playing classical music or bird sounds, Silvervine infused toys (similar plant to catnip but more effective), treat 'hunts', nature videos, puzzle toys with treat reward, etc. Special Request Service(s): Additional services may be accommodated depending on request! ***Discounts on pricing for multiple services requested in one visit!! For example, if you would like me to come by and feed your pet, clip its nails, take it for a 30 minute walk and spend an hour hanging out with him/her, rather than $35 I would only charge ~$30!! ***Discounts also for multiple pets of the same species!!
