Warehouse worker Established high end furniture manufacturer in Chula Vista seeks experienced Warehouse worker who possesses a strong work ethic, is organized, and can work independently. Responsibilities and requirements (Assigned Duties May Vary) • Loading and Unloading of product • Must be able to stand for long periods of time • Picks and stages product for Quality Control inspection • Retrieves product stage by QC inspector for shipping • Weighs product and records weights • Final Assembly of Furniture • BILINGUAL- SPANISH A MUST • Measures product for shipment • Packages (crating & wraps) product • Labels Product for shipping • Basic warehouse maintenance (organization, cleaning, etc.) • Assures that shipping information is correct such as counts, weights, shipping documentation of incoming and outgoing shipments is verified against sales orders and Bill of Ladings. • Prepares and expedites shipments with the highest level of quality and productivity standards needed in a manufacturing environment • Excellent communication and people skills • Ability to multitask and change directives as needed • Ability to lift up to 50lbs multiple times per day • Excellent at following through and completing assignments • Initiative and drive to get the job done • Availability for occasional weekends and overtime • Must be quick learner, energetic and motivated • Must be able to work quickly, independently and efficiently • Experience with power tools helpful • Compensation starting at $17.00 Pay depends upon experience.
