WHEATON, IL — The Wheaton Public Library is holding a school supply drive to help People's Resource Center fill backpacks for students in need. Donations can be dropped off at the Wheaton Public Library Tuesday and Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The following items are needed for the school supply drive: Backpacks Colored pencils Compasses Crayons Ear bud headphones Erasers Glue Glue sticks Highlighters Index cards Kids' markers Kids' scissors Loose-leaf paper Pencils Pencil bags Pens (blue and red) Protractors Rulers Scientific calculators Spiral notebooks Two-pocket folders The goal of the school supply drive is to fill enough backpacks for 1,000 children. Those wishing to donate with contactless delivery can order from the People's Resource Center (PRC) wishlist on Amazon or at Target and Walmart for delivery to People's Resource Center, 201 S. Naperville Rd., Wheaton.
