Record-Breaking Voter Turnout In DuPage County: County Clerk

DUPAGE COUNTY, IL — As of 6:15 p.m. on Election Day, a record number of DuPage County voters had cast their ballots. Of the county's 652,895 registered voters, 468,316 had voted. These numbers include 190,688 early voters, 163,251 verified mail-in voters and 114,333 Election Day voters. The total numbers shattered the 2016 record of 434,050 voters. As of Saturday, more than half of DuPage County voters had cast their ballots, according to the DuPage County Clerk's Office. The numbers included 171,539 early voting site voters and 156,271 mail-in voters, Kaczmarek said in a news release. Kaczmarek added that as of Saturday there were still 39,000 outstanding mail-in ballots.
