NEEDED: Mock Jury Participants WHAT: We are looking for adults (18+ yrs old) to serve on a panel of in-person and virtual mock jurors throughout 2022. For in-person mock juries, we provide an $80 stipend, free parking, and generous snack and beverage service. Due to personal health considerations, regardless of state mandates, in-person jurors will need to provide proof of full vaccination and will be required to wear face coverings for the duration. Virtual mock juries require reliable internet, webcam, and microphone (often standard in the computer itself). We provide a $60 stipend for virtual jurors. All In-person mock jury sessions will be held at Lakewood Center for the Arts in Lake Oswego, OR. The location is ADA accessible. You will be asked to potentially be part of a group discussion and/or an active listening exercise for the case prepared by our visiting attorney. No prior knowledge or experience necessary. You’ll be asked to provide written and verbal feedback to them. Active participation required; no casual observers. You will be required to sign a Confidentiality Agreement and a Photo/Video Release.
