NW Employment is partnered with a local Metal Components Company in Tualatin, OR and we are looking to add a powder coat line helper. This candidate Prepares a variety of surfaces including steel, aluminum, stainless steel and other shop coated metal, uncoated metal, finished hardware, accessories and other surfaces as specified. Day Shift 6am - 2:30pm Wage $17/hr. Essential Duties and Responsibilities  Racks/unracks product for phosphate and powder lines  Masks/unmasks parts per prints and set up sheets, cleans, loads and carries parts to and from powder coat line.  Loads and washes product on the phosphate line  Finishes parts as directed  Inspects product to cosmetic standards as each step of the process is completed  Loads/unloads materials, parts or products onto or from pallets, skids, conveyor, or trucks, either manually or using a hoist.  Typically works under the direct supervision of a Powder Coat Line Operator.  Follows established safety protocols including required usage of PPE; helps to maintain a safe working environment  Keeps work area clean and organized  Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications and Experience  Basic math and measurement skills  Strong attention to detail  Ability to correctly surface prep product to a cosmetic finish  Dependability; honesty & integrity; a positive, proactive attitude; ability to use time productively, working with minimal supervision both individually and as part of a team.  Ability to work overtime as required Physical Requirements  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand (up to 8 hours per shift)  The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Requires ability to deliver materials to designated work areas using a pallet-jack or hand truck.
