Band playing all originals seeking Rhythm guitarist. Experienced Drums, Bass, Guitar and female Lead Vocals. Looking for someone truly interested in playing rhythm. There are traditional rock parts, but really looking for someone who enjoys playing simple, but highly syncopated parts- James Brown, Funk, Afro-pop, Fela...Lot's of room to contribute parts. Songs blend Funky Rock, R&B, Blues, Jazz, "World" music...Lots of choruses, hooks, riffs, and jamming. There are a lot of great guitarists in Portland, but we already have a lead player, please don't respond if you're hoping it will turn in to that. We need a Steve Cropper, Bob Weir, Guitar George...
