Hello all! I’m posting here in search of people who are interested in forming an alternative rock band. I’m 28, a singer/lyricist, and have lots of experience with marketing and management. For this band, I’m interested in people between the ages of 21-30. I want to make a stamp in the industry like Jane’s Addiction. Their sound was so different and original that it shook the entire music industry and rock in general. I need musicians that can bring it and are 100% dedicated to this. If you don’t have much availability on weekends, this won’t work for you. If you’re in 20 other bands, this won’t work for you either unfortunately. I’m looking for a guitarist, bassist, and drummer currently. I’ll even consider a second guitarist if we feel that we need one. I won’t name the bands inspiring this project because I want to see what we come up with without those bands in mind. Just think 80s-90s alternative rock mixed with a sub genre or two. It will definitely be modern feeling as well. If this is something that you’re interested in, I’d love to chat with you about it and get something going soon.
