Hello, On April 2 starting at 12 noon, the annual “ Always Bet on Red “ chili competition will be held at Shannon View Inn, Post Road Warwick. We are still looking for one or two more contestants but if that does not interest you, we hope you can attend. The Grey Foundation, that is hosting the event, donates money to wildlife rescues, habitats, and ALS research. 12 area competitors will be vying for the top seat of best chili in Rhode Island. It’s a great way to spend a couple hours and to support very worthy causes. There is no fee to enter the contest if you think you have the best chili and there is no cost to sample the best of Rhode Island. We do ask for donations but that’s up to you. See you there !
