WHEATON, IL — Two packages and a catalytic converter were stolen in Wheaton, according to a recent police report. The catalytic converter was stolen from a car at St. Francis High School. The police report also included more than two dozen instances of unemployment fraud attempts. Wheaton Sees Increase In Unemployment Fraud Reports Package Theft in 1000 block of College Avenue On Dec. 10, a resident reported that a package was stolen from the vestibule of their building. Package Theft in 1300 block of E. Roosevelt Rd. A resident reported that a package was stolen from outside the front door of their apartment sometime between Dec. 4 and Dec. 7. Catalytic Converter Theft at 2130 W. Roosevelt Rd. A resident reported that their catalytic converter was stolen while their car was parked at St. Francis High School early Dec. 10.
