TORRANCE, CA — Police activity Friday morning prompted the closure of Pacific Coast Highway near Torrance and Redondo Beach, officials said. Eastbound PCH was closed at Prospect Avenue about 11:10 am. and reopened before noon, Torrance Police Department said. Authorities asked drivers to stay away from the area.
