Full Job Description: Our Company is a contract service provider for FedEx Ground. We are starting to hire now for Full-time delivery drivers to provide package pickup and delivery services out of the Santa Fe FedEx Terminal. This position is perfect for someone with who has worked for a moving company or delivered large items. QUALIFICATIONS: Clean driving record -- NO DUIs in past 5 years. Must pass drug screen, background check. Candidate must be in good physical condition (DOT Physical required) Must pass a road test No history of revoked or suspended driver's license No more than 1 moving violations on your driving record in the past 3 years 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience in the past 3 years (any driving done as part of a job where payment was received from a business -- Uber, construction, landscaping, food delivery, etc.) REQUIREMENTS, DRIVER MUST: Be able to work a flexible schedule including Saturday and Sunday. You must be able to work a Saturday or Sunday every week. Available to work 5-6 days including weekends. Perform daily Pre & Post inspection on vehicle. Work independently and as part of a team. Accurately operate scanner/effectively track delivery process. Consistently deliver entire route in a timely manner. Be of legal status to work in the USA, we E-Verify. Be able to safely lift/carry packages weighing up to 150 pounds with a hand truck. Pass FedEx Ground approval process to become a qualified driver. Excellent customer service skills. Candidates must be EXTREMELY dependable and self-motivated. Have good organizational and time management skills Be Calm/Composed/Customer Friendly - We need drivers who can put Safety first - Always put safety first when you drive - No cell phones, no texting, no speeding, no running lights, no cutting, and no road rage. Must have a working Android, Apple phone or tablet that you can bring with you every day. You be required to go through a 3 Day training class will be provided and you will be compensated for at the hourly rate. Pay: $18.00 per hour plus time and a half overtime. PTO paid holidays after probationary period and Safety and Attendance Bonuses. Uniforms provided and paid training, gas cards and vehicles provided.
