We are a well-known reputable electrical contractor specializing in heavy highway/civil construction industry with current openings in our yard/warehouse/deliveries out of our Fife location. This is a great opportunity to learn about the industry and diverse career fields within it all while being an integral part of a fast paced team environment. This is a full-time Monday – Friday 7am -3:30pm opportunity with weekly pay. Immediate opening starting at $16/hr. with medical and dental benefits provided after 60 days. Essential Duties: • Receiving – Inspect incoming materials for faults and proper quantities, unload incoming materials, mark and label materials and put in stock. • Loading – Load trailers, trucks, and delivery vehicles with necessary materials. • Yard – Clean and maintain stock piles, move equipment, use hand tools and power tools (ie. circular saw, sawzall, drills, impact, pliers, hammers, etc.), use pallet jack, use hand truck, yard and warehouse housekeeping to maintain a safe environment, operate forklift, climb stairs and ladders, lifting and carrying. • Deliveries – Pull and fill orders for field crews, load/unload at site, secure load and drive non-CDL trucks, and tow a trailer as needed. • Perform incidental work in a variety of environments as requested. Responsibilities: • Clearly communicate with field crews and warehouse supervisors • Adhere to all safety policies and practices • Document inventory • Be punctual / on-time and ready to work • Prepared for the days weather • Attention to detail and accuracy Skills/Qualifications/Abilities: • Positive attitude! • Ability to navigate throughout the region to jobsites with varying routes. • Valid Washington State Driver’s License (WDL) - must be comfortable towing a trailer (will train if needed) and have an acceptable driving record • Bend, climb stairs or ladders, kneel, stand, and walk for extended periods of time (full shift) • Be organized, detail oriented, reliable and dependable • Take pride in ones work and demonstrate good work ethic • Detail oriented and able to follow instructions • Ability to lift 50 - 75lbs • Must be 18, or have completed high school or GED.
