Edison47 is seeking a Housekeeper for a brand new apartment community located in University Place, WA. This position is full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Hours may be subject to change. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Manage all aspects of cleanliness for the community • Perform full cleaning for apartment turns in a timely manner to property/company specifications • Clean ovens, stovetops, behind appliances and bathrooms • Maintain cleanliness standards for the office, elevator, front entrance and common areas • Perform grounds care including picking up trash, sorting trash/recyclables and moving trash/recyclables • Operate small machinery such as a vacuum, pressure washer, leaf blower, etc. • Assist with seasonal jobs such as snow removal • Other duties as assigned SKILL REQUIREMENTS: • Must be willing to comply with safety practices • Self-starter who can work with minimal or no supervision • Attention to detail and completion of tasks in a timely manner • Must be able to lift 50 pounds in a safe manner and request assistance when needed • Job involves climbing stairs, walking, standing, stooping and crouching for extended period of time • Knowledge and use of typical cleaning products • Strong customer service skills • Must have reliable transportation EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: • High School Diploma or equivalent required • Previous experience with cleaning work strongly preferred • May be required to help with coverage at sister properties COMPENSATION: • Competitive wage of $19/hour + regular bonuses, depending on experience • Benefits available include health, vision, dental and 401K.
