Porter Job Description A keen eye for detail is needed to be a competent day porter. Has to be organized and able to follow instructions and keep daily tasks. Monday through Saturday 9am to 6pm PRINCIPLE DUTIES: * Conduct daily inspection of the lot * Parking vehicles and moving them from place to place * Perform general janitorial duties and make minor repairs * Perform general cleaning including sweeping and mopping floors and stairs, cleaning entry doors and glass, mid-day cleaning of washrooms, and another miscellaneous cleaning as needed. *Detail boats and cars * Other duties may apply REQUIREMENTS: * Valid Driver's license *High School diploma or equivalent education * Porter or janitorial experience is preferred * Must be able to push and pull a minimum of 30 pounds * Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 to 50 pounds * Must be a team player and committed to working in a quality environment *Good oral and written communication skills *Dependable and punctual *Self-motivated and be able to stay occupied with Daily Tasks *Very strong work ethic *Must be able to take directions and be a problem solver *Bi-lingual is a plus! but not necessary
