Guitar player in my 30s just moved to the area, looking to see what other musicians are around and looking to start something up. Been playing guitar for over 20 years, mostly blues/rock but recently delved into more traditional Americana stuff, bluegrass, old time, etc... Big Phish head/ Dead head. Also dabble in the mandolin. Something with some rock and roll spirit, but with a twist of some rural American grit would be awesome. Would be interested in either an electric band with drums, or a stripped down acoustic outfit that could play smaller gigs at a more intimate scale. Really just want to play with people at my level, and would love to work on crafting original music. Would not consider myself a professional, but far from a beginner. I'm a player above all else!
