Countryside Corporate Apartments is looking for a full-time maintenance person to join our team. Hours will be Monday - Friday with the occasional weekend on call. We are a fully-furnished apartment complex that specializes in short-term leases and we have been Madison's market leader in that space for the last 25 years. Our ideal candidate has a positive attitude, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. Prior maintenance experience is required, Job Summary You will perform a variety of duties for our furnished apartment complex while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities will include general maintenace work, apartment turnover prep, lifting and moving of furniture, and ensuring that all facilities are in a safe condition. In addition, this position will also include daily duties such as painting, improvement projects, routine seasonal maintenance and all other duties assigned by management. Responsibilities and Duties Delivering friendly customer service while completing tasks Basic plumbing repairs such as addressing clogged toilets & drains, leaking faucets, etc. Painting residential apartments and individual rooms General grounds keeping including minor custodial work, picking up trash, pulling weeds and maintaining curb appeal and common areas The ability to troubleshoot problems and recommend solutions Review all apartments prior to move-in and and hold them to a standard set by management Qualifications and Skills Positive Attitude Strong customer service skills Prior maintenance experience required.
