Bassist in need of a band

Hey, thanks for checking out my post. I'm a twenty year old bassist who's been playing for around six years. I started out playing thrash metal then going down a path of progressive and death metal. I've studied music theory on my own time, have experience playing live, and have some experience in mixing. My current influences would be from bands like Metallica, Opeth, Periphery, and Polyphia. Bassists that have influenced me over the years are Cliff Burton, Martin Mendez, John Myung, Adam Nolly, and Victor Wooten. I do know how to play guitar as well, however I am much more proficient on bass. All this jargon aside, I'm just looking for a group of musicians who are willing and dedicated to making music. Preferably some form of rock or metal, but I'm open to other genres of music as well. I latch onto a majority of musical concepts quickly and know my way around my instrument. If I sound like the right person you need for a band, jamming, or recording, a reply would be very much appreciated.
