Description
We are looking for participants who use alcohol, tobacco, or cannabis (ATC) and weigh at least 110 lbs for a paid research study at ASU. The study ''Brain mechanisms of reducing polysubstance use following a novel body-mind intervention'' aims to understand mechanisms and training effects of evidence-based body-mind training and/or neurofeedback on improving self-control and behavior change such as substance use. Your participation is voluntary, and your responses are completely confidential.
You will be invited to complete online questionnaires, 10 Zoom sessions of body-mind training lasting about 60 minutes each, non-invasive MRI brain scans and blood draws. The study is expected to take about 15 hours in total and you will receive $250 after completion. Participants need to live around the PHX area, as you will need to come on campus for assessment.
