Responsibilities • Receives deliveries of stock, including unloading inbound materials. Receives returned goods and arranges for special shipping orders of stock and non-stock items. Prepares and ships inter-Company transfers. • Prepares and packages orders for delivery according to customer’s instructions. • Stocks inventory in proper places in stock bins. Alerts manager/and or purchasing dept of discrepancies in inventory counts. Alerts manager/purchasing dept of low inventory levels to prevent stockouts. • Attends training sessions and department meetings as requested. • Serves as the backup to the delivery driver and the counter sales. Skills/Physical Demands/Additional Qualifications • Experienced drivers • Strong Customer service skills • Excellent verbal and written communication. • Requires a post offer pre-employment DOT physical. • Driver’s license that meets job requirements and a motor vehicle driving record that satisfies the requirements of our casualty and liability insurance program. For the state of KS Class-C, MO Class-E & OK Class-D. • Forklift safety certificate required. • Must be able to lift to 100 pounds on an infrequent basis and 25 pounds on a frequent basis.
