Ironworker Job description: This person will have to be able to bend and stoop over for long periods time. They will have to be able to lift and carry coiled ½” diameter steel post-tension cables weighing upwards of but not limited to 50-75lbs. They will also need to be able to lift and carry rebar up to 20’ in length and upwards of, but not limited to 50-75lbs. They will have to be able to get around, across, in and out of, and/or over ditches, footings, trenches, varying in depth up to, but not limited to 4’ deep. This person may also have to work in confined spaces such as footings, ditches, and trenches for long durations up to, but not limited to 1 hour at a time tying, bending, cutting and placing rebar and/or steel post-tension cables. This person will also be required to be able to bend and/or stoop over for long periods of time nailing and tying with tie wire and installing plastic support chairs and/or dobie bricks under the rebar and/or post-tension cables. Must have reliable transportation. Experience preferred. Pay rate $-$/hr. Depending on experience.
