Well established Property Management Company seeking an individual to join our current landscaping crew. This job shall involve landscape maintenance at various apartment complexes & residences. Properties are located in Glendora, Azusa, & Covina. Candidate must know how to use and maintain landscaping equipment, including mowers & trimmers, and be willing and able to follow health and safety regulations while on the job. You will work on our team to ensure properties stay clean & beautifully maintained. You will use our equipment and be required to work according to the set schedule. Candidate will be required to pass a full preemployment screening including a background check. Dishonesty during the hiring process shall be grounds for denial / employment termination. Responsibilities: Install and maintain seasonal plants Mow, trim and fertilize green spaces Mulch, edge and weed gardens Pull weeds Prune and trim trees and bushes Maintain all garden equipment and machinery, like mowers, trimmers and leaf blowers Monitor and maintain the health of plants Deal with pest problems that could damage plants Keep gardens and green spaces clear of debris and litter Skills: Working knowledge of lawn mower, weed-wacker, trimmer, etc. The ability to lift heavy objects The ability to remain on your feet for long periods of time Knowledge of safe & proper use of landscaping equipment English / Spanish bilingual Work well on a team with other crew members Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $18.00 per hour Schedule: 7:30am-4:00pm, Monday - Friday.
