The Janitorial and Maintenance Porter is responsible for performing a variety of daily janitorial and maintenance tasks throughout the Company's two (2) commercial buildings, located side by side. Hours: 5:30AM-2:00PM, Monday-Friday Daily Tasks/Responsibilities Frequent sanitation of highly touched surfaces such as door handles, breakroom supplies, work surfaces, chair arms etc. Emptying of all trash cans and replacement of liners Vacuuming of assigned carpeted areas Dusting of all wall fixtures, frames, undersides of chairs and desks, and other necessary areas Sweeping of debris from outside entrances Dusting/wiping down all interior window sills and baseboards Cleaning the inside and outside of glass entry doors Monitoring and restocking restroom supplies Spot cleaning of carpet and/or walls to remove stains/dirt, as needed Tidying of breakroom and conference room supplies and furniture Various building maintenance tasks, as assigned, such as changing of light bulbs/batteries, power washing outdoor areas, and/or use of hand tools (hammer, screwdrivers, etc.) Abilities and Minimum Qualifications Must be able to work independently, efficiently, and thoroughly Must have strong attention to detail Must be able to communicate in English A minimum of (2) years experience in a commercial janitorial/maintenance position is preferred Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
