Seeking bassist for garage rock band w/guys in 40s/30s

Description
Hello. We're three guys: a drummer, keyboard and guitarist/vocals in our 40s and 30s. Day jobs, got our affairs in order and our lives together. No intention to "make it", but every intention to put out good music that we enjoy, to collaborate, and have fun. We have a fairly high profile show booked at the end of April, and we quickly need to find a new bassist to join our band. We define the band as a garage rock band, because it's rooted in a simple guitar driven sound like a 1960s garage band, but melodic bass, vocals and keys make it a little more unique and add texture and various elements from keyboards to baroque treatments. So, it has elements of a lot of influences from the 60s, 70s, 80s and beyond. The songs are hooky and our previous bassist wrote melodic but straight forward bass lines. You could take his parts or make your own, or a combo. We're interested in finding a committed, collaborative bassist to join us. We strive to operate fairly autonomously - writing a lot, recording ourselves, and playing shows, including the possibility of light touring and short trips. We're all adults, good communicators, collaborators, who dig making music. Being productive and committed is a big part of what makes this fun, but we try to keep it contained to one rehearsal a week (unless we're prepping for a show, recording or something and feel we need a bit more time). We have a free, clean, secure, temp controlled and acoustically treated room in the house of one of our members in West Linn to rehearse in - again typically one evening a week, usually Tuesdays. Influences are many and broad, but here is a short list: Spoon, Parquet Courts, Last Shadow Puppets, Rocket from the Crypt (and all of John Reis's guitar projects), Fugazi, tons of 60s rock, punk, post-punk, art rock, baroque rock, indie rock across all decades. Lots. Tell us your influences, gear, background and interests and anything else about you that would help us get to know you. If you have recordings of previous projects, please include them.
