Job description All hours are day hours, we'll provide all of your uniforms, competitive health benefits for you and your family, we'll pay you for being on call for 4hrs and call in pay will pay a minimum of 4hrs for each call. Call in rotation will be approximately every 5 weeks, 401k with great company match, 3 weeks of paid time off in the first year, 9 paid holidays, overtime available. Location: Blair Nebraska Salary: Full Time - $16 per hr. Hours: 4-10hr days Monday – Thursday or Tuesday - Friday, 7:00 am until 5:30 pm Title: Waterblast and Vac Technician Job Description Summary *Assigned tasks list to include, but not limited to, vacuum waste and spilled product, water blast clean machines and areas, and lance clean lines and pipes. Must be able to handle up to 10,000 psi water pressure flowing through the handheld cleaning equipment. *Provide sanitation and cleaning assistance as needed for shoveling; snow removal; pesticide application; and general area clean up. *Assist in formulating standards / work procedures while performing those duties and provide work order feedback on discrepancies noted in service delivery. *Must have working knowledge and be able to operate the following: skid loaders, scissors lifts, aerial lifts, forklifts, RTFL, and hand / power tools. *Maintain adherence to the published work schedule and be available to work overtime as required by demands of the job. This includes days, nights, and weekends as needed. Work all shifts including holidays and weekends when demanded by the job. *Work from elevated areas such as ladders, platforms, scaffolding, etc. utilizing fall protection equipment when required by the job and situation. *Employee must be able to work in confined spaces, wear a respirator, fall protection equipment and other necessary PPE as required by the job functions. This could include, may not be limited to, special blast suits, boots and gloves as well as standard PPE equipment. *Employee must be able to work in awkward positions for long periods of time, stand for long periods of time, walk long distanced, and climb excessive stairs. *Maintain communication with supervisor regarding unresolved work issues, personnel issues, and employee complaints. *Employee must be able to evaluate a site for safety hazards and communicate with supervisor if the area is felt to be unsafe. *Employee will be required to maintain and communicate using a company radio. *Must maintain a consistent and good attendance record in accordance with Company policy *Perform other work as defined by company and/or customer. *While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold, wet and/or humid conditions.
