If I had the chance I’d take my time
Patiently keeping an open mind
Savoring each moment
I’d get to know just what she likes
And find ways to make her smile
I’d paint the world her favorite color
And plant flowers in her yard
I’d be generous in my thoughts of her
And a soft place to land when life gets hard
