With summer right around the corner, Monarch Investment is gearing up for fun in the sun. We are actively interviewing for a Pool Monitor to join our team at Cedar Trace Apartments located in Maryland Heights, on a seasonal basis. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking for some extra cash ($15 - $16/HR) during the summer months - The schedule is set Tuesday - Sunday from 11AM to 7PM. Purpose: The Pool Attendant is responsible for ensuring that the pool amenity is being use appropriately and within the rules & regulations of the property. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Ensure that all pool rules and regulations are adhered to at all times • Open, close, and secure pool gates according to the official pool hours • Inspect and ensure that pool safety equipment such as a life ring, rescue pole hook or any other safety equipment required by local laws are present and in good working condition • Check pool passes, of all people to ensure they are authorized to use it • Ensure that residents do not have more than two (2) guests and that the resident is present during guest usage • Make sure that the amount of people in the pool area does not exceed the limit permitted by local code • Skim debris from the pool as needed with net • Straighten up and leave the pool area in neat and orderly condition at the beginning and end of each work shift • Report any damaged equipment such as but not limited to chairs, tables, umbrellas, ladders, etc to the Property Manager within 24 hrs or immediately if it poses a health & safety issue Knowledge, Skills and Experience required: • Must be detailed oriented • This position requires high alertness while on duty • Must be outside during the summer during shift • Comfortable operating the pool skimmer Monarch Investment is the 9th largest multifamily property owner in the country with over 68,000 units, spanning 21 states in our portfolio.
