Unleash your imagination, engage your intuition and immerse your senses in this unconventional interactive walking tour!
We'll be using Cottage Grove's last Friday Art Walk as inspiration for improv storybuilding games and creative thinking exercises.
You'll discover new ways to interact with and appreciate art — and how to access your intuitive creativity.
And you'll also learn a little history about the area!
If you haven't been before, Cottage Grove is only about 20 minutes from Eugene-Springfield. It's known for it's covered bridges and for it's movie history (it's been the setting for films like Stand by Me, Animal House & more). Our tour takes place in the downtown historic district.
This ARTventure is great for writers, artists, actors or just ordinary people who want something unconventional and fun to do on a Friday night!
No experience or special talents necessary. :)
Our tour starts at 5:45, Artwalk is officially 6 to 8pm,and we'll finish at Covered Bridge Brewing where they'll be some great live jazz until 9pm (there's also an indie/folk band playing at Axe & Fiddle that starts at 8:30 if anyone wants to go there instead or after the jazz band wraps up).
