Paperclips, binder clips, hanging file folders, rubber bands and staples...all of the typical filing fasteners, DO NOT need to be removed. These are no problem for our shredders at all! However, NO 3 ring binders, the paper needs to be removed and the binder disposed prior to shredding. Our shredders are tough, but they are not designed to shred everything.
