Together, We Can make our community a better, cleaner and safer place! Join us April 24th, Earth Day weekend, in a city-wide Clean-Up. This is a public event. All are invited and welcome! Earth Day has been a worldwide event since April 22nd, 1970; bringing awareness of global issues such as climate change, air and water pollution, environmental and human health. This year, April 24th, Global Clothing Co. will be a key participant in EarthDay 2022 - The Great Clean-Up with EarthDay.org. This year’s Earth Day theme is #InvestInOutPlanet. This is the moment to change it all - the business climate, the political climate, and how we take action on climate. Now is the time for the unstoppable courage to preserve and protect our health, our families, our livelihoods… together, we must Invest In Out Planet. Sign-ins for participants and volunteers will open @ 9:00am. 9:30am-9:45am, everyone will be dispersed into teams and designated to areas. At 10 o'clock, it's time to Clean-Up! All participants and volunteers will receive an Earth Day '22 Spring Clean-Up shirt and food & beverage will be provided after the Clean-Up. Safety materials and Personal Protective Equipment such as gloves and masks will be provided for all are in need. Donations for PPE, water or snacks are welcomed and greatly appreciated) Local businesses, families, students, council members and authorities are invited to join in the '22 Spring Clean-Up! Because Together, We Can! And We Are Better Together.
