We are going to reduce violent crime and property crime. It's going to take a community approach. We can't do it independently. It's an unfair ask to expect police to deal with crime all by themselves. It's completely unrealistic to think that the police alone can do this. It's going to take an US mindset and a community plan." - Chief Avery Moore, Tacoma Chief of Police. Change starts with community activists. Community activism happens when neighbors decide to help each other, listen to each other and share their experiences through aid and assistance.
