It’s not your mother’s slow cooker. In this session, we’ll dive into the origins of sous vide and learn how it is being used today in restaurants and in the home. Sous vide cooking can be used to deliver consistency and help with labor challenges facing the restaurant industry today. We are going to look at techniques and equipment needed to properly execute meals using this method. From cooking steaks, eggs, potatoes, vegetables to even doing desserts, we’ll look at how easy it is to bring sous vide into your kitchen.
