Join us for an evening of education and outreach in recognition of Minority Health Month! The Schedule of Events are as follows: 4:30pm – Registration, Refreshments, Networking, Health Fair 5:20pm – Introduction and Documentary viewing “Unnatural Causes – In Sickness and in Wealth” 6:30pm – Q&A Panel with Community Leaders 6:50pm – Conclusion The documentary “Unnatural Causes – In Sickness and In Wealth” explores the lives of a CEO, lab supervisor, janitor, and unemployed mother and illustrates how social class shapes access to power, resources, and opportunities. Solutions pursued focus not on medications, but on more equitable social policies. A Q&A panel with community leaders will follow the viewing.
