I grew up in Boulder, CO. and got a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado. From there I decided to pursue my Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling and am currently working on my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Psychology and counseling have always been of interest to me, specifically linking how the brain and body impact emotions and vice versa, which is a huge reason why I do really love the DBT modality. I currently have my LPC and have a history of working both inpatient and outpatient settings. I have worked with all age groups from adolescents to geriatrics, chemical dependency clients, family sessions, group and individual, and have been the Director of PHP/IOP."
