Creating Regional Wheelchair Centers EquallyAble is continuing to strategize future growth and expand institutional capacity to better serve persons with disabilities. Our goal is to create impactful programming that multiplies growth with your generous initial donations. We see our growth in truly transforming the landscape of inclusion by investing in the lives of people with disabilities. To build solutions that create inclusion, EquallyAble is working with global partners to create regional wheelchair design and manufacturing centers in countries across the world. Such manufacturing centers, located in various countries, will employee and train local people with disabilities to be trade-persons to develop high quality wheelchair which are serviceable and can operate in a variety of climatic terrains and environments: Build and Designed Disabled Wheelchairs will be designed with the needs of people with disability in mind, it will not only train them but and will also employ them. Customizable The wheelchairs will be customizable to the individual needs and be ergonomically fitted to their weight and height requrements. Serviceable The wheelchairs will be made with easily serviceable parts, these parts will be locally developed and easily available.
