How can we build a food secure New Orleans? Join us for a community conversation with locals working in mutual aid and urban agriculture. One in five New Orleanians is food insecure, meaning they lack consistent access to enough food for everyone household. In this community conversation, we'll hear from panelists who are working to address food needs in and around New Orleans, and discuss what we, as community members, can do to ensure all people have access to healthy, nourishing food. Our panel includes: Alec Devaprasad, Lede New Orleans (moderator) Erika Chomsky-Adelson, Culture Aid NOLA Margee Green, SPROUT NOLA Terence Jackson, SPROUT NOLA Jonshell Johnson, Grow Dat Youth Farm Matt Taylor, Second Harvest Food Bank of Greater New OrleansThis panel is part of "Feed The People," a community storytelling exhibit by Lede New Orleans.
