Fish Market Meeting

Meets

Seattle WA

Description

I was at the Salmon Bay Fish Market this weekend. I made a big mistake thinking that you were breaking into a car. I saw the woman get out the car without you. You came off as suspicious to me for some reason. You were 100% correct in asserting that I profiled you. I was wrong for it. I’m not sure what I was thinking. I should not have confronted you. I apologize again. My intent was to possibly intervene on behalf of the woman who got out of the car—in attempts to prevent theft. I was way off base. You were right to be mad and feel targeted. I live in Hawaii where theft is rampant. It probably contributed to my hyper-vigilance. I gave you a Shaka hand sign when departing as a symbol of good-will, not to antagonize you. This was extremely humbling and embarrassing. I wish I could make it up to you. I also apologize to your acquaintance for any upset I caused her. Aloha, -M
