come pick up litter with we.grow.eco and Santa Fe Parks Division at General Franklin E Miles Park! COMMUNITY CLEAN-UP: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Saturday 4/9 we.grow.eco and Santa Fe Parks invites you to join us on Saturday, April 9th from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at General Franklin E Miles Park to a good ol' community clean up. We will meet in a gazebo near the parking lot — the address is address: 1027 Camino Carlos Rey, Santa Fe, NM 87505. Thick nitrile gloves and work gloves will be available, but bring yours along if you'd like. UPON ARRIVAL: we will gather field in front of the pavilions take a group photo, & have a brief orientation about how the morning will go.then we'll split into smaller groups and begin cleaning up in the designated areas of the park.we will then meet back at 11:40 am, sort recycling and count how many bags we've used.after collecting & documenting our litter haul, we will gather together to debrief about this event and how single-use plastic pollution & possible grassroots power-driven solutions.PLEASE BRING: a full (reusable) water bottle, and any snacks you may want (we will also have snacks & a water jug)a hat & sunscreen for sun protectionshoes and clothes for potentially-chilly outdoor activities (we may play some Ultimate Frisbee frisbee when we're done!)there will be public restrooms available. to learn more about we.grow.eco, please visit www.wegroweco.org we look forward to seeing you out there! in solidarity, chauncey & noah
